The expansion adds a small pool area called Paradise Cove for children to enjoy after sliding down Bamboo Chutes, twin kid slides located near White Water Bay’s wave pool.

In a news release, Six Flags also teased the water park’s Tiki Bar, which will feature in-water stools and will serve margaritas, piña coladas and a signature rum-based cocktail called Bahama Blaster. That name references the new Bahama Blaster, which sends riders down four side-by-side slides.

Six Flags also added a Cabana Village to White Water Bay. There, guests can rent six cabanas with ceiling fans, table and chairs, recliners and a stocked mini-refrigerator. A spokeswoman did not have details on the rental prices but said food servers will be available to deliver meals to guests.

The Northwest Side park kicks off its 2014 season with weekend openings starting Saturday. It also will be open daily for Spring Break between March 8-16.

White Water Bay officially opens to the public on weekends starting May 3. The water park will be open daily between May 31 and Aug. 24. General admission to Six Flags Fiesta Texas includes admission to the water park.
